"Something that can be helpful in managing your day to day tasks and getting your work done especially in the arena of employment is to work with the natural flow of your energy. Often we have more energy earlier in the day or earlier in the start of our work shift and we want to put more focus and more time into the things that we enjoy. So, it's almost better to eat your dessert first so to speak and do the tasks you enjoy and get them out of the way when you have lots of energy and you can whip right through them; because whether you want to or not, you're going to have to do the tasks you don't like as much. So, it's better to get everything out of the way that you like in a short amount of time so you have the rest of your day and the rest of your energy to spend on things you don't as much. This is helpful with housework too. I personally find it helpful to do the housework I like more earlier in the day so I tend to get it done quicker and that leaves me more of my actual energy flow to complete the tasks I don't like as much; because again whether you like them or not they have to be done and if you work with yourself, you can make completing these tasks, both at work and at home, easier to manage."
