"The way to read this particular at home drug test is to read two lines that are produced for each testing agent in the strip. The top line is the control line, which means just to show that the test is in good working order and everything went well. That line should appear no matter what. The second line is the actual test line. If a line is present, even if it's a very faint line that means that test is negative, that drug substance is not present in that person's urine. If the line is absent that would indicate a positive test, which more than likely indicates that that particular substance is present in that person's urine and therefore in their body. Again with this particular testing kit they encourage highly that if there is any doubt or confusion and to, and or to make confirmation of a positive sample that you produce the sample for the laboratory mail in and mail it in thus to their laboratory for particular testing. Again this test can't differentiate between prescribed drugs or illegal drugs nor can it tell you how the drug was taken into the body ie; was it smoked, ingested, injected intravenously, snorted that information is not going to be present, but it can give you a basic idea of whether or not there is a drug present in the body."
