"Hi. I'm Theresa Murphy on behalf of Expert Village, in this clip doing more wrist stretches for the forearms and the wrists and hands. So in order to start to get more mobility and more precise movement in the bones of the wrist, and not just where the forearm meets the wrist bones, is a series of stretches that you can do to help not only create the movement, but also create space in these wrist bones. So getting a nice tight grip, interlacing all the way to the webbing where you would wear your rings, I'm going to hang on tight. Putting a little bit of pressure, you can see the discoloration in my hands affecting blood vessels. And I'm going to pull the hands apart, but hang on tight. Maintain this traction. I'm going to try to stretch the back of one wrist and the front of the other wrist at the same time. I'm focusing on the movement being isolated right in the bones of the wrists--in the carpal bones, trying to help benefit the tunnel of the carpal--the carpal tunnel. Creating space and doing the hands in this position, also horizontal to the floor, so I'm still hanging on, I'm still pulling with a lot of intensity to create a stretch in the back of the wrist. I'm working my hands in a little different way than we might when we're typing or chopping vegetables or knitting."
