"RICHARD NEIL: Hi, I'm Richard Neil. Welcome back. I'm a massage therapist specializing in Shiatsu massage. A little bit of my history, I trained about 20 years ago with a fellow named Fred Mitour up at the Pacific School of Massage & Healing Arts in Gualala, which is in Northern California. I studied various modalities including deep tissue work, Swedish, reflexology and Shiatsu. If you are not familiar with Shiatsu, it is based on the oriental philosophy of mind-body connection as well as meridians. Meridians are energy channels or flowlines that go throughout your body from your hands to your head to your toes, and in each of these meridians there are acupressure points, trigger points, where energy can be accessed and that energy is called "Chi". This is my partner Sarah, and during the last segment, we worked on Sarah's back, her hip area, and behind her legs. Continuing today, we'll be working on her legs and her neck and shoulders as well as the feet. So please join us."
