" Hi, I'm Richard Neil. Welcome to our show. Today we'll be covering shiatsu massage. During the course of these shows we'll perform a full body massage. A little bit of history on me: I studied with a fellow up in Gualala, California named Fred Mitouer, who has a school called The Pacific School of Massage and Healing Arts. It was a wonderful experience for me. I got into massage, as a recipient, of course. Then I started understanding the mechanics of massage and how it can help the body, and I just became fascinated with it. So I wanted to know more and more. I trained in several modalities, including reflexology and Swedish, deep tissue work and shiatsu. So when we come back, I'll discuss what differentiates shiatsu massage from other modalities, so stay with us."
