"RICHARD NEIL: Okay, so this is the initial start of work on the arms and hands. So I'm using my palms along the inside of her arm here, just sort of kneading in with my hands. This works on the meridian called the heart protector meridian. There's a tissue along the outside of the heart called the pericardium. And literally, it is the heart protector. This has to do with trust issues, obviously. And while it is flowing through her arm, we use our arms to push people away or if we want to protect ourselves, sometimes we fold our arms to signal that we don't want to be interfered with. So it's opening up a feeling of trust here. Now, from this motion with my palms, I can use my thumbs to go along the inside of her arm stroking. Be careful with the elbow. Just like the knee, we don't want to put undue pressure on that part of the body, on the joints. Take it all the way down to the wrist. Make sure you're taking it all the way down to the wrist. That's where the heart protector meridian ends. So we'll be coming right back and working on another part of the arms."
