"We're going to talk about huang qi what call a stragelis. This is a root we get that's often times sliced. This particular herb has a number of wonderful functions. It?s famous as an immune booster and we often times use it to raise the white blood cell count in immune compromised individuals. But from a Chinese perspective, it actually has a unique property to it. We saw that is has an upward energy so it lifts things up. So we combine this herb in a very famous formula called boo song echi wong which we say is for prolapse or when things are falling down so we can use it for things like organ prolapse, prolapsed bladder, prolapsed uterus which surprisingly is fairly common in people. But then we have some other interesting things because we can talk about the chi is so weak that it falls down and so we use it for circulating the energy through the body and through the head. So sometimes when people have muddled thinking or muddled head we'll make up a tea with this along with other herbs that help to build the chi and circulate it and we can really help to boost that chi and that energy using the huang qi to circulate those energies through the body."
