"In this clip I'm going to show you how to breathe correctly, and just noticing what's happening through your eyes. A big process with yoga is just noticing and having your own body awareness. When you get those, your own little clues or when things start tightening up is when you want to stop and take a couple deep breaths, and take just thirty seconds and go back to whatever it is that you were doing. When we're working on the computers, we get lots of tension through your forehead, your eyes. Everything is really tight and really working hard. So when you're going into yoga and you're wanting to take some deep breaths, you sit back into the chair; just forget the computer that's in front of you. Roll your shoulders up and back. Just close your eyes for a few deep breaths here. Notice the space between your eyes and your forehead. See if you can release and kind of imagine that you actually got a little bit of a roller here. A roller is coming right across and just rolling out all the wrinkles in your forehead. Isn't that great? As you inhale and you exhale, breathe in through your nose, exhaling, releasing through your nose. And actually, on your first breath, you can actually breathe in through your nose and exhale out through your mouth to release any tension that's there. So as you inhale, exhale, let your shoulders drop. One more time; inhale, exhale. Let your shoulders drop. And then take deep breaths in through your nose and out through your nose. With abdominal breathing here, you want to breathe in through the lower part of your lungs as well as the upper part of your lungs, as you constantly are breathing, usually, in the upper part of your chest. So see if you can breathe in through your abdomen, and all the way up through your chest. So, it's a nice full breath. You exhale and release. Two more breaths; you inhale and exhale. One more deep breath in and exhale. Just that simple process of breathing, notice how much better you feel."
