"So in this clip I'm going to talk a little bit about habits and lifestyle changes. What you can do, actually, to prevent carpal tunnel and what we tend to do when we are doing all these repetitive motions is our alignment, our body is actually in this alignment which is causing a lot of the nerve damage and where it starts. So, what you want to do actually is get up from your desk or from your work area every couple of hours, and be able to stretch and just change your body, so that your body is not staying in one particular place for a period of time. So when you actually get up from your desk, you really just want to start by stretching up, and interlace your fingers, bring your arms up towards the ceiling. Get a nice stretch. You can stretch one arm and then stretch the other arm, just to start opening up your body and being able to move your fingers, and come back down, bring your arms down towards the floor. You can make circular motions with your wrists, and roll your shoulders up and back. Just some simple things that you can do, just to start getting your body out of the simple repetitive pattern that it's constantly in if you're sitting in it for so long."
