"Now we’re going to talk about ladies who have a very dark complexion and a very dark hair color. General rule of thumb is that you don’t want your glasses to look very stark on you, so I would advise against going with just a straight black frame, you need something that’s going to be, have a little bit of color and accentuate the glasses, kind if differentiate from your facial features. You do not want your glasses to wash out ladies, it just doesn’t look appropriate, it takes away from the whole purpose of having, aside from vision the whole style of having the glasses, okay. So what I’ve kind of prepared for you over here is a few different colors to start with. The first of which is actually a very dark green with a light backing. You definitely don’t want to do like light greens and fluorescent greens, that’s way too much contrast, but something that is going to have some differentiation, set it apart from your complexion, it’s going to be this dark green with this light backing. In addition to this, we have a black frame, actually it’s more of a cobalt blue up front with a light blue on the back, it’s going to kind of give you that look that you wanted with the black frame but it’s also got a little bit of color to it. The next one we have is a brushed metal, I would kind of avoid things that are a too shinny, have a luster, but something that’s a brushed metal is going to look pretty good. I’m going to again say, set your features apart, kind of set the glasses off a little bit which is what you like. Another frame, one of my actual favorite color combos, black and pink. This is a Guess frame and you can kind of see it has a lot of, it has a very ornate design on the side, kind of a, kind of a little bit flashy perhaps, but that black and pink is a really nice, nice color combo for some of you ladies that have that dark complexion. Last thing I’ll talk about is a tortoise frame; when you’re picking out tortoise ladies with a darker complexion, do not go with a super light tortoise. Super light tortoise being; has a lot of blondish colors, has a lot of light browns and maybe even a little orange, you want a lot of black and like some speckles of lighter colors, like some light browns. Those are really going to again set those glasses off for you and add some differentiation without looking tacky as I think that the light tortoises probably will. And those are my color options for those of you that are light complected. "
