Women's Semi-Rimless Eyeglass Frame

"All right and now we’re going to talk about women’s frames that are semi-rimless frames. Again a lot of different styles, a lot of different ways to, you know to differentiate these styles, I’m going to show you two here. The first two we have are going to be a brand that’s known as Turia. They’re a little bit more, what I’m going to call a mature brand, this is for maybe a person that’s a little bit older, just by virtue of the style of the lenses, you’re going to find a lot of also kind of a rope look on the temple here. These glasses are held together by a filament string, lens goes, is cut out and then a groove is applied to the lens so that, that filament string will hold it together. If you have a stout thicker prescription this isn’t exactly the best idea, okay, your thickness is going to show with this, with this frame style. You can thin the lens down, but that will add to a little of an extra expense with these lenses, with this frame style we do recommend doing polycarbonate lenses which is a shatter resistant lens and it won’t chip when that filament string moves around let’s say when you, when you clean them. But again, sky’s the limit in terms of different options for ladies who would like to have the semi-rimless look, all the way from very contemporary to very European, to very traditional and very ornate so lots of different options for you to choose from.
