"But the nice part about it is these implants are very stable as compared to what we usually have. This technology has improved to a point where delivery of the implant, meaning placing the implant into the jaw bone, has become routine. You have to find a good dentist that's able to do this in a comfortable environment. Going to a dentist is never 100% comfortable, but in a nice environment, but the treatment is really, if you can handle a root canal or an extraction, then implants, to me, it's very straightforward, at least that's what my patients have told me. Again to summarize, implant dentistry is really have come a long way. If you have missing teeth, you do want to replace them with implant. You don't want to substitute it with removal, dentures, or bridgework. The main thing is, you're damaging something in order to replace a missing tooth, and long term that damage becomes even more, so it's just a quick fix. Dental implant, if you can place that in there, and you can take care of it, you're back to normal, and you're really not damaging anything, so that's why I think it's really valuable if you have a missing tooth, that we can do dental implant, so you can have a normal life, basically."
