"Hi! I am Monica and one last stretch that I am going to show you for arthritis is going to be for your piriformis muscle and you want to, again, have a nice spot on the bed or floor that you can lie down on. Go ahead and lie on your back for this one. What you want to do is you are going to stretch out the right side. You are going to cross your knee over your leg just like if you are sitting and you have crossed your leg and then just pull your knee a little bit to your chest in a kind of diagonal. You should feel a good stretch right here in your butt on your piriformis muscle right here. Another variation of that is you can actually pull your left leg to your chest too. If you are having a hard time trying to find the stretch with the other way this does the exact same thing. So again you are going to want to hold it between 30 and 60 seconds. Just a nice little stretch in there all right through your butt and switch to your other leg and then just gently pull it towards you. "
