"I am going to show you another strengthening exercise for your shoulder. This is actually a really important exercise. We are going to do is external rotation first and if anyone has any rotator cuff problems or just like general shoulder weakness or impingement problems this is a good exercise for you to do. So what you want to do is either lie on the ground or a bed works fine too and you want to lie on your side, so you can have a pillow underneath here if you want to, whatever to make you comfortable. Just have your knees slightly bent again so you are nice and comfortable. You will need some kind of weight or a soup can and what you are going to do is just have your arm resting right like that and then you just point the weight straight up, so I am not bending my elbow at all. It is just all coming from my shoulder. You are just rotating your shoulder in and out, just like that. You are going to want to start off with maybe about 10 of these and if that is easy, you can increase your reps. You should actually feel it on the backside of your shoulder right in through here. Those are the muscles that are working, so nice and slow. If you need to you can take a small rolled towel or maybe a pillow right there. If it is little bit easier to have your arm up like that, if not just lie right on your side, just coming up and down."
