" Hi! My name is Monica and I'm going to show you one last stretch for your knee area. This stretch is actually going to be for one of your calf muscles your gastrocnemius muscle. Gastroc actually crosses right above your knee so let me go ahead and show you where that is going to be at. When you are doing your stretch you are going to feel it all right down and through here and your gastroc actually attaches right up here right above your knee. So what you are going to want to do is stretch your right leg is take a good step back away from the wall or other surface to hold on to. You just kind of lean into the wall and you want to make sure that you keep your knees straight. You don't want them bent at all; you want it nice and straight. If this is not a enough stretch for you, you could stick like a small roll towel or a book underneath the ball of your foot and same thing; just lean forward, keeping your knees straight. You want to make sure that your heels are on the ground. You don't want your heel off the ground at all; you want it like that. Switch to the other leg, either up on the towel here or just on the ground, your heel flat on the ground, knees straight; again holding for 30-60 seconds for each stretch."
