"Now we're going to be connecting Effleurage to the lower leg of the body. Needs our stroke to glide down the side into the glutes, to the upper leg and down to the calf muscles. Again, apply a liberal amount of oil. Massage the oil with the Effleurage strokes into the skin. Using the palm and the pads of the fingers through relaxed hand. This is very soothing, especially for people who are runners or people on their feet for long periods of time. Then we can connect the whole leg from the lower leg. Again, more pressure on the upstroke, gliding down the down-stroke. This will push the circulation further up towards the heart. I can use my hands on either side of the calf muscles, putting a little bit of pressure on my thumbs, and connecting the whole leg again. Remember to walk up the leg, don't start here and bend forward. Use you leg and bend into the knee. Then we can connect into the foot. And that's Effleurage on the lower leg."
