"Hi! Nili Nathan with Expert Village, I want to talk to you and demonstrate how to make soups. Most of us are eating soups from a can or a package and I’m going to show you how quickly and easily you can make a whole food soup that’s filled with nutrition. I use a miso this is typically found in your Japanese restaurant it comes from a soy bean paste very high in enzymes, now these enzymes are very good for your digestion. So what you’ll start off with is some hot water and then you scoop out a little bit of your miso, now you can experiment with this to see that taste and the flavor that you prefer and it just dissolves very nicely in the hot water. Now that’s all that there is to it you can serve it and drink just like this or you can garnish it with perhaps a little bit of chopped leeks, I like to put some carrots and I don’t cook it because I want to get more nutrition, when you cook food you kill a lot of the vitamins and minerals and enzymes. Then another idea you could do is to get seaweed which is very high and all of your B vitamins and your irons, so this is wolcomy this is what it looks like coming out of the package, it’s dried and what you want to do is just soak it in water it just takes about a minute and then it puffs up like that and you just want to chop some up, there you go put it right in the miso soup. And if you want you can experiment with buying a little kelp putting in maybe just a little bit in there, another idea is doles flakes these are ready to use sea vegetables, many people eat these right out of the bag as a snack so I’ll show you what that looks like…you can sprinkle a little bit. And there you have it here is a nice nutritional whole food miso soup that was so fast and easy any busy mom or executive can prepare right at home, let me just give this a little taste."
