Video Transcript

"Hi! I’m Nili Nathan on behalf of Expert Village. When we say whole foods what we mean is fruits, vegetables, nuts, grains and seeds in their most natural form, no preservatives, no additives, no dyes and preferably 100% organic. What we don’t mean is hamburgers, French fries, sodas, candy, potato chips, frozen dinners, canned meat, canned fruit, canned anything you get the idea, the other thing is salad dressing and oils are definitely not a whole food. Know that when you go to your supermarket and you see these items on the shelve they are dead food, they have been processed and heated at very high temperatures, they go ransed quickly, they’re filled with trans fatty acid, hygenated oils that have no where to live in your body except fill up your arteries, cause plaque and ultimately disease. The good news is that I’m going to show you and demonstrate how to pick and select top quality whole foods, how to prepare them, cook them and eat them, so you’ll be on road to incorporating more whole foods in your diet."
