"Hi. I'm going to demonstrate what's called belly breathing. Those with fibromyalgia, like I said are really low in energy. So, really really what has helped me is breathing deep from the belly. The first part of this is placing one hand on the heart and one hand on the belly. You're going to allow the belly and the chest to open. And, you're going to take a deep inhale from the diaphragm which is between your ribs and your belly. Right in the middle. So, you take a deep inhale. Open the ribs and the belly as high as you can. Then, exhale through the nose and draw the navel through the spine without dropping the head or shoulders and squeeze all the air out of the lungs. You're going to do that again, as high as you can. Try to take it at least four counts up. As you keep doing this, you may get a little bit better and a little bit longer on your breath. This brings the energy back into the body to the cells, to every part of your body that you need to energize you. You'll exhale and draw all the air out."
