"Hi. I'm Philene Trevathan and I've been a fitness instructor for about twenty-four years. Today, I'm going to demonstrate some Yoga moves for those with fibromyalgia. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia about six years ago myself. So, I've learned to incorporate some things that are very helpful. And, some modifications for those with fibromyalgia. I'm in a fitness environment here, where I teach at a gym. We have about twenty-five to thirty students. And, what we want to do it learn to get oxygen back into the body for those who are low in energy with fibromyalgia. This is very helpful with yoga, because it helps to stretch and helps the joints. And, strengthens the body without using weights. Which, sometimes can hurt the muscles and the joints. So, we will begin in a series today. And, then show you lots of different moves as we begin with the belly breath."
