"In this clip we are going to talk about cholesterol and it is a hot topic for many of you because I know we have got lots of people who have imbalanced cholesterol levels. The first thing to look at is why is your cholesterol high. I never recommend right off the bat, of course, your doctor is your primary care person but I never recommend going straight to Lipitor or a drug like that. It is always best if you can start by reducing your cholesterol naturally with nutrients and so one thing that people don't realize is that part of the reason why you have high cholesterol has to do with two factors: 1) it has to do with an over stressed liver and the liver is where you actually produce about 70 to 80% of your body cholesterol so only 20 to 30 comes from you diet so one of the best things you can do is to fortify your liver health and the other thing you can do is to improve your antioxidant status and that helps to reduce the lesions in your arteries that are causing your cholesterol levels to rise. One thing that I recommend to improve your antioxidant health is lots of fruits and veggies and also adding a nice antioxidant like this one, a three a day antioxidant which has Alpha Lipoic Acid and CoQ10 and Vitamin C and also potentially a green supplemental like this one, Palleograins."
