Video Transcript

"This clip is about pain and inflammation and these days I find that so many of us are suffering with much more inflammation than we need to so not only does the inflammation come out in feeling like pain in our bodies but it also comes out in almost all of the diseases that we are incurring as a nation. So cancer is a result of inflammation, heart disease is a result of inflammation, auto-immune disease, gastrointestinal problems, thyroiditis, and on and on so to reverse inflammation I believe actually that one of the things that we are missing that is causing so much inflammation is fatty acids in our diet. Omega 3 fatty acids in particular are the core building blocks for our anti-inflammatory hormones which we obviously need more of so I have here with me today a couple of different forms of Omega 3 fatty acids. Here I have a flax oil as well as a fish oil. Now if I have to choose I typically choose fish oil simply because it is a more bio-available Omega 3 but if you are a vegetarian or if for some reason you do well with flax oil that's a great choice too."
