"Ok so the first exercise that we're going to perform is a back extension. Back extensions are a great way to really engage the lower back and to give it a good stretch and to strengthen it as well. If you are having lower back pain I wouldn't suggest adding any weight to this exercise. Just perform it lying down on the ground with your own body weight as resistance. So I'll show you the way this exercise goes and my recommendation is to do reps of ten. So here's a back extension, you're going to lie down on the mat on your stomach. Make sure that you're nice and comfortable and your weight is evenly distributed. You're going to fold your hands under your chin and then in one movement, slow and controlled, you're going to lift up hold it and lift down. Make sure you're breathing and also keep your legs on the ground. So whatever you need to do to keep your legs on the ground, if it's a smaller movement that's fine just make sure your posture and your form is perfect. So you just lift up, hold it about a second, and lower. And that's your back extensions."
