"So now another way to enhance your hike is definitely to stop and find a place where you can really meditate and just reflect on good things in your life. I like to do this because I think its great as far as relieving more stress and also really heightening how you feel about how I feel about life and I think it will also do the same for you. So on my hike I definitely like to take the time to find a nice, quiet place and to just sit in the quiet and really just meditate, breathe, be at one with my inner being and reflect on the good things in life. So to do this, simply find a place that you like, get comfortable, also you want to be sure your posture is good when you're in a state like this so make sure you're not slumped over in any way. Make sure you're comfortable and I like to just be in an open stance. And so I take deep breaths in and deep breaths out. And then just let the mind wander any thoughts that come to mind, just let them go out, don't think anything. Just breathe, look around, listen and enjoy nature and don't think anything, just that's the whole point to try not to think just to let all of those thoughts come out. And you do it as long as it takes until you feel a definite inner peace within yourself. You'll know that you've done it for long enough. So usually on a trail though you can keep your eyes open, but really just try to let the mind wander away and don't keep it don't hold on to any thoughts just release everything and you'll find yourself heightened. You'll find yourself in better spirits and you'll find yourself feeling a lot more peaceful."
