"Today's show is about how to enhance your hike. I am located in beautiful Runyon Canyon in Hollywood, California. Every city has great places with great trails where you can go and enjoy nature and hike. There are several great benefits of hiking. Number one is excellent cardiovascular activity so if you really need most people do need to get thirty good minutes or more of cardiovascular activity and when you go hiking its an excellent way to do that. Another great thing about hiking is it really helps strengthen your muscles and so as you're hiking you'll notice that your leg muscles you'll feel it mostly in your lower body but you can also do certain things to pump up the upper body but really it helps your legs, it gives you energy. Also, hiking is excellent to fight off a lot of diseases like heart disease, stroke and also it helps prevent osteoporosis because a lot of times when we build our muscles around our bones it helps protect us against all of those diseases. So hiking there are so many benefits to it. So I really encourage you to get outside and just go for a good hike, find a nice trail and do it."
