"What I have going on here...I just started the eye on the stove. I'm going to put a little bit of water in this saucepan. Hmm, that was about 1/2 cup, maybe a little bit less. What I'm going to do, I'm going to create a honey-water with a little bit of lemon juice mixture. When I get this going, I'm going to pour it over our nuts and raisins and sesame seeds we got going on. What this is going to do , it is going to add some sweetness from the honey, the lemon juice really brightens up the flavor, and also it's going to combine it together for you, it's going to make everything gel together. So, I have a little bit of water in there. And let's get our honey so it can start melting. This really depends on how sweet you want to make it, how thick you want to make this, how much you want to pour over your nut mixture -or whatever you put in your granola. You may just want to drizzle, just to sweeten it up. You may want to load it, you know, drown those nuts in there so that it really makes a solidified bar. It's really up to you. I want to do something somewhere in between those two. I have about a 1/4 cup of honey in here, with my just under 1/2 cup of water. The honey heats up very quickly so that won't take long. I'm going to go ahead and get my lemon juice in here. Take a lemon, roll a lemon a little bit on the counter, it gets the juices going in there. Cut that in half. You don't want any seeds, so be careful when you squeeze it in there. You can squeeze it through your hands, which I do a lot. I don't see any seeds in here, so we're good. You don't need to squeeze much, because the lemon juice will really cut through. I'm just putting, gosh, maybe like 1 teaspoon or less in there. Just enough, again, to brighten it up, so it's not too rich from the honey. I've actually used this mixture to pour over other things I've baked, so this is a great little sweet mixture to come up with. There we go. I want this to be a little bit thicker, so I'm going to add a little bit more honey. I added about a 1/4 of a cup, just under, so I'm going to add a little bit more than that, a couple tablespoons more. Since I'm adding more honey, it makes it even sweeter, I'm going to add a little bit more lemon juice. Get the seeds out. Again, just to counteract that richness from the honey. You don't want it to be too powerful. Alright, this is coming together nicely. I'm going to let this blend together a little bit more, and I'm going to take it back and pour it over my nut and raisin and sesame seed mixture over there."
