"Okay, while my yam chips are in the oven getting crisp, you are thinking over my tips I've given you so far on how to avoid junk food. Let's talk about the granola I'm going to make. I've loosely called it granola. Granola can be, gosh, just about anything. If you go into a grocery store, you can see 16 different varieties of granolas. Its honey almond flavor with raisins, or macadamia cranberry with currants. You name it; there is a different variety of granola out there. I'm using my favorite nuts, and a little bit of sesame seeds. So you just make it whatever you want to make it. I'm using some favorite ingredients of mine, actually ingredients that are in some of my favorite nut bars that I've bought. Except, I'm going to be making it at home, because: 1. it's a little healthier and 2. It's actually more cost-effective, as well. You could go out and buy granola or buy your own nut stuff, but again, we are focusing on what you can do at home today to keep healthy things on hand, you can have these at home. These are great to give kids when they get home after school. This is something great you can throw into a Ziploc baggy and take it to work. It can sit in your car; it doesn't have to be refrigerated. It takes two seconds in the oven, just to bring out the nuttiness of the nuts I'm using. It's so simple and really a great alternative to keep in your pantry. Let's get started on our nut granola."
