"Ok, my first tip for you, and its going to sound kind of like a given, but really, very, very important. The tip is to be prepared. To plan, and it may require some cooking, in our case, some baking, but really I?ve found the best way to arm myself against the pitfall of stopping in at that fast-food restaurant when I?m in a hurry is if I have something in my purse already. Or if I threw something in my car or in my laptop bag or something to have with me, it does take a little extra time and effort to prepare, and I totally understand that, but really, when your clothes fit better and you feel better and your skin clears up and you're just feeling great and you're healthy overall it is more than worth the, maybe, five or ten minutes a day, it takes just to kind of plan ahead to be prepared. That means make some healthy snacks at home, or make sure you have healthy snacks at home. Throw one in your purse. Throw a healthy bar or in our case, we're making some yam chips today, and we're going to make a homemade granola bar, a health bar, today. And just be prepared, plan ahead, think ok, how long am I going to be out today? Am I going to have a chance to stop by home? Or, will I have an opportunity to eat healthy if I don't bring something? So just think about your day, or maybe the night before or just give yourself five minutes in the morning to plan ahead. Again, I realize it seems like an extra step and when you're trying to get out the door it seems like a hassle, but again, when you're feeling better and your body is functioning better and you look better and your clothes feel better this step is just crucial. Plan ahead, think about your day and prepare for your day."
