The supplement industry is basically an owner-regulated industry. There is no government agency including the Federal Drug Administration that test supplements to see if they have any value for your health. The FDA which is the Federal Drug Administration issues a few guidelines however. The most important one says that any health claims on the label or in the product information of supplements must be based on conclusive research and approved by the FDA. So that will be any type of supplements that say “no yeast,” “no corn,” “… wheat,” or whatever the supplements say. They would have to look at that and approve that."
