"Hello again. This is Lisa La Barr, certified nutritionist on Expert Village. I am actually here today to talk to about child's nutrition and that's your child's nutrition. We're going to talk about allergy protection, food allergies and also healthy digestion, which is the biggie that I like to talk about. Basically, understanding those nasty little food allergies to all these great foods is a way to look into your child's health and what more better then to know exactly what they're allergic to, what their symptoms could be and also anything else that could possible happen health wise. Some interesting symptoms that you can actually see in your children that could be symptoms of food allergies, are things like mucus problems, where they are (clearing throat) a lot, or they're coughing, or they feel like there is something caught in their throat kind of thing, or they may have skin disease, eczema or anything like that, stomach aches, stomach problems, or any of those type of things. And basically, all those can be symptoms of food allergies. Basically, food allergies are there to show you that something is wrong, that this food is a problem for the body and is treated as such. Basically, what's great is that when you have food allergies and things like that are refine, like sugar, you have to refine flour, those type of things, that's our body telling us these aren't good. And that's a good thing, but then you have food allergies where your stomach and everything flares up and your child has these allergies and these mucousy problems and the eczema problems to things that are seemingly healthy like whole wheat, eggs and then milk, which these are healthy things and very nutritious, especially for children and their body and bone development and brain development as well. And what we want to know, what we want to know, is how come your child is having these issues, these problems with their digestion and digesting these food allergies, so we will take a look at that."
