"It's important that you basically get your check up every 6 months. And the reason we say every 6 months is because anything can happen during that 6 months. And for the most part a lot of people forget about it and they?ll come when their teeth or something hurts. Or usually when something hurts it's already at the advanced stage. You want to be able to have your teeth cleaned every six months. Have it polished. The main thing is because it gives the dentist, it gives us a chance to make sure everything is healthy. When everything is healthy it's easy. You won?t have cavities or you won?t have tooth pain. But the thing is, if you do not do the regular check up then the possibility of having some type of problem increases tremendously. And this is why it's easier to come in to the dentist?s office to have your teeth cleaned every 6 months. And as you do that continuously it actually doesn't hurt."
