"How long does it take for the healing? The healing on average is between one month to four months to six months to ten months. Depending on the different situation. The one month, four to six weeks I would say. There's a special type of implant that allows the bone to grow around it very, very fast. It allows us to put pressure on that implant within a four to six week period. It's quite new so is it a good implant? It's a very good implant. It just, it's depending on what you're looking for. The standard, most implants out there are all four months. Meaning after the placement of the implant, the root surface implant will need four months for the bone to really heal and grow. Basically you want the bone to go from baby bone to adult bone so it stays nice and solid and be able to take the load, which is the pressure on the implants. And then the six months or the ten months are really based on patients who have deficiency of bones where we have to add grafted bone into those area and those bone needs time to convert into the patients bone which literally takes six to ten months. So it varies because depending on the patients healing ability."
