"On behalf of Expert Village my name is Gale Stolove with Wholly Macro in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Today we are going to talk about a day and the life of a macrobiotics lifestyle. So we have finally made it down to the kitchen so we could actually make some food and have our breakfast and our lunch and our dinner throughout the day. The kitchen is really the center of the macrobiotics household. We have a beautiful gas stove, we use gas for cooking not electricity. Electricity drains energy out of food, gas puts warmth and vitality and fire and energy into the food so its crucial that you use gas in the cooking. The kitchen has to be a nice clean open area. We have lots of big windows so we that could look out on the greeny that's surrounding the house and open the windows and get lots of fresh air if weather is permitting. We just try to make it as pleasant of a environment as possible in the kitchen."
