"Lauren here is going to be showing us a modification, variation of Halasana. Nice, wide-legged Plow Pose. So I'm going to have her first, start on her back, laying down. Beautiful, laying down. Arms down to your sides, lifting your legs all the way up. Lifting in to your nice shoulder stand. Beautiful. Notice how she moved her elbows closer together. Now very slowly, lowering the legs over your head into Plow. Now first I want you to do is set the pose, Plow Pose. Notice the toes facing the head. Notice the chin nicely into the throat, and the elbows are close together. Now we're going to come into wide-leg Plow Pose. So walking your hands back towards your toes, reaching back, grabbing a hold of the toes. And very slowly, pulling them out into a nice straddle stretch. Lovely. Slowly and gently walking them back together. Releasing the toes, dropping the arms back down behind you. And we're going to come out slowly. So, lifting the legs into a nice 45 degree angle. Drop your arms down to the floor. Engaging your core muscles, very slowly lowering the hips down. Release the legs all the way down the floor, coming into Sivasana. Arms to your sides, palms up. Good."
