Video Transcript

"Heidi here will be demonstrating a nice Sirsasana, wide-legged variation. She's going to give you a side view this time. So coming into child, Vilasana, child pose. Relax the forehead down, take a breath. Exhaling out completely. Bring in the elbows underneath the shoulders, for your measurement. Always measure out your headstand. Bring in the hands in front, clasp the fingers together. Notice she did not move her elbows. And placing that spot on your head where you would balance a book. Tucking the toes. Straighten out the legs. And walk until you feel my leg. Beautiful long spine. Coming into it very slowly. Lifting the knees. And lift the knees towards the ceiling, and straighten out those legs. Beautiful. Pull into the belly, press into your tripod. And coming into that nice, wide leg variation. Dropping the feet off to the sides. Inhale the legs back together. And again, dropping slowly off to the sides. And inhale the legs together. Coming out of it slowly, bend the knees, and gently lower down with control. Perfect. Lower down into your child pose. And breathe."
