"Okay, I briefly covered on sprouts but let's go into a little more detail. These are Sunflower Sprouts. They start out with this hard shell on them right here and then as they sprout, the hard shell pushes off. Like so, and now, you can actually see the first two leaves. This right here is a, at this point, is live food. If it was still in the Sunflower seed, this would be considered raw food. Here, it's alive and mmm is it good. We also have Clover Sprouts and here we have Chinese Radishes. None of these have sprouted yet like this has, but what we want to do is, it's important when you're doing your sprouts that you have a guideline to go by. A lot of people eat their sprouts when they're way too mature. This Sunflower is fairly mature, but still good to eat. Where with the Clover, we want to eat that when it's only about a half inch long. When it's barely, barely looking like a plant. The same way with the Radishes is that we want to take these Radishes and only when their about a quarter inch to a half inch long is when we want to eat them. We don't want to eat them when they're all filled up like this. We want to get them when they have the young DNA in them to make young cells in us."
