"Alright, on a raw live food diet, we're trying to get away from the sugar. Sugar is our, is one of the enemies in a lot of diets. Here we have some raw, pure cane sugar. It's crystally, it's all sugar. Even though it's organic, its still is one hundred percent sugar, in its crystallized form. Here, we have what the sugar looked like before they decided to make it sugar. It's brown, it's not crystally, it doesn't look anything like the sugar we're familiar with. Of course theirs the sugar that you buy in the store which is white which is bleached. This raw crystallized sugar has a little bit of a brown tint to it, but it's still pure. Where with this sugar, which we don't actually call sugar. We call it Suganot. This is the sugar cane that's been broken down into a slurry and is waiting to be processed to take out the pure cane sugar and then the rest of it is what we call molasses. They take this product, split it into two items and you end up with molasses and you end up with sugar. In a raw live food diet, if we were going to use sugar, we would use this Suganot. This is considered a whole food, it's got all the nutrients, potassium, a lot of nutrients in here and it's very good for you. Another replacement to make things sweet in a raw live food diet is we use, raw, organic, Blue Agave. This is from the Agave plant and it's a cactus like and this is actually the sap that they take out of the Agave plant. It's very sweet and it is a great substitute for doing the sweet thing to your raw live food."
