"Hi, I'm Jan Kain and I'm back with another Chi Gong exercise. This time, we're going to take the chi, our life force that we cultivated in the last exercise, and we're going to use it to roll the ball. And we're going to take that energy, so just imagine taking that energy again in between your hands, rubbing the palms, getting the energy going. You can do this as a stand alone exercise or following cultivating the chi, that's fine. We're going to turn into rolling the ball. So when you're rolling the ball, you're still cultivating the chi and getting all the energy, but you're also starting to move. Now you're starting to move your spine and your waist, and your knees and your hips, just a little bit of everything. So, you've got all the energy, moving the ball, working the arms, the wrists, the elbows, the shoulders, the spine, the waist, the hips, the knees. All of this just from one little exercise. You can also do this seated where you're primarily going to be moving your upper body and your arms and hands. Still cultivating the chi and rolling the ball, you can roll and swing from one side to the other, nice and smooth, don't forget about your breath. Lots of spine and waist rotation, pull your abdomen nice and tight, navel into the spine. So you?re working a little bit of strength and, again, the moving, meditation, the life force and the energy."
