"Hi, I'm Jan Kain and here's another Chi Gong exercise for you. It's called Separating clouds, and if you'd studied the Tai Chi, you would be calling it cloud hands, and there would be movement with the lower body as well. This is strictly upper body. Again, beginning in neutral. You can be standing or you can be seated. One arm is going to be out to the side, one arm in front. Now just imagine how clouds move. Just take a moment and think about that first. And you're going to breathe and start moving the arms. Again, the spine and the waist are going to move the arms. Now, think about what moves clouds, air. So, now we're going to put in the breath, so don't forget the breathe. Nice and deep, moving the spine and the waist and moving a breath. So you're automatically working your upper body. Again, if you?re standing, you're working the middle and the lower as well, and you're working your breath. This exercise is extremely graceful and gentle, should bring about a lot of strength and a lot of relaxation. Again, these exercises can be done standing or seated, any time you need to feel both relaxed and energized."
