"We're going to cover physical symptoms that you might see with a stroke. We're going to start by showing the facial droop. This is very common, this is what a person would look like normally and then if they try to smile or talk, you can notice that part of their face is drooping down and it's partially paralyzed. The next symptom that we're going to cover, the next physical symptom we're going cover is arm drift. Now this is fairly common that if they are having a stroke, that one side of their body is going to become partially paralyzed and they're going to begin losing motor function there. So as you can see in this picture, this lady is trying to hold both of the arms up straight but due to the problems with the stroke, her other arm naturally drifts down without her control. A lot of times they won't even be aware of this, they'll still think that they're holding it up straight. The other symptom would be their speech. I don't have a picture for that, but if you try to talk to them, they speech will either be slurred, gargled, or it's possible that they might even be confused. So those are some of the physical symptoms you might see. It doesn't have to be their arms and face, it could be one entire side of their body, maybe even a leg, but these are some of the most obvious ones that will stand out."
