"Hi! This is Karen Frazier and we are doing a demonstration for Expert Village. When working the foot, if we could move this chart, when working the foot area, another thing someone who is trained in reflexology what they would actually do is as they are working the foot in the various zones and the various areas, they are also looking for weaknesses in the body and the way weaknesses are determined is as you are working in the upward motion with the thumb, what feels like a sandy spot, it feels like sand actually underneath the skin of the foot. So as you are working you are looking for these weaknesses and if you find a weak area, you would actually start to stimulate that area. Say for instance this individual has a sandy spot in her neck area and I would ask her are you sometimes troubled with some weaknesses in your neck, like pain or discomfort. Just to confirm what I am feeling I would ask the subject that question."
