"DR. SUSAN JEWELL: Hello. My name is Dr. Susan Jewell and on behalf of Expert Village today, I'm going to talk to you about how to recognize fatigue and also ways to reduce the symptoms of fatigue. Now, in this clip, we're going to talk about an issue called "open mindedness." Now, when I say that, I'm talking about the mental and psychological way of thinking. Now, most times, people have fatigue is because they also have apathy and lethargy and these are usually associated with conditions of life, for example depression or a high-stress anxiety that drains your body. So, if you can change the mode of thinking and address a more positive healthy attitude then that would also take you out of this fatigue syndrome and will help you enjoy life more and be more active. So, open mindedness is try to think more positively about yourself, your self-esteem and also about your environment and the world that surrounds you and how you relate to your environment. Be positive. Be motivated because motivation is a very strong way to challenge and to overcome fatigue syndrome. And because when you're motivated, you have the energy, the drive and passion to go and be active to go and achieve things and that will help therefore to build your self-esteem, you'll be more confident so be more confident to have--and you attain your goals and your desires in life and live a very healthy, balanced lifestyle. And so, these are the ways that you could try to open your mind to openness and to help alleviate the frequency of fatigue syndrome."
