"Hello, my name is Dr. Susan Jewell and on behalf of Expert Village, in this kit I'm going to talk to you about medication and the use of medication for trying to reduce the symptoms from Restless Leg Syndrome. Now, always remember that when you take medication that you always consult and get advice from your medical doctor first, before you actually go out and buy the medication and take it. Now, for Restless Leg Syndrome, even though there's unknown courses, there are over the counter medication you can buy in your local drugstores that you can help to alleviate some of the symptoms of Restless Leg Syndrome, like sleepless nights, because it keeps you awake from this, the jumping corrly sensation that you need to always get up to walk around to alleviate that particular symptom. And so there are over the counter drugs that help you to sleep at night. You know, sometimes, of course if you have a cold too, you can get drugs that will help you sleep that has that ingredient in there, but always remember that this is a temporary solution and that if you take it constantly, these over the drug medication, your body will build what we call a tolerance to it and then it will become ineffective. And basically then you'll end up with a vicious circle, you'll have the symptoms and there will be no other way to alleviate the condition by taking this drug. So always be aware of that and always take advice from your medical doctor. So like I said, Restless Leg Syndrome, if you take some medication at night to help you sleep, because of lack of sleep that would help. Also, if you're having muscular pain associates with Restless Leg Syndrome as well, so you can take some Tylenol, Advil that would help, but temporarily relief is what this gives you. So these are some of the ways that you can, from the medical standpoint, from a drug standpoint, that can help you, help you at least reduce the symptoms from Restless Leg Syndrome."
