"Hello, my name is Dr. Susan Jewell and on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to talk to you about a particular syndrome called the restless leg syndrome or ekborn syndrome. Now, in this particular syndrome, the most people patients or people complain they come in and they complain of this sort of a creepy crawly sensation that moves up and down the whole of the lower extremities of the legs. It makes them jump. It's also known as the jumpy leg syndrome and it usually occurs commonly in elderly grouped people, although it could effect all ages across the board from children to you know middle aged people. But a lot of the causes is unknown, but a fact is that it increases the occurrence of this particular syndrome could be your lifestyle with stress and anxiety as well that has some kind of basis to this particular condition. We found that most people who say that it elevates this horrible sensation that they get up and they move, they have this urgency or the need to move around because that elevates that horrible, creepy sensation. Then most patients say that they get this restless leg syndrome mostly occurring at nighttime when you're asleep. So in the next series of clips, I'll show you certain ways that you could find, you could do that will help to elevate the symptom of restless legs."
