"Hello, my name is Dr. Susan Jewell. Now, in this clip I'm going to show you the anatomy of the testicles, where it's located in the male reproductive system, so that you'll actually understand some of signs and symptoms that you get, when you get diagnosed with Testicular Cancer and why the doctor has given you some of the option treatments to be able to address your cancer. Now, here's a picture of the male reproductive system here and in this diagram here, you could see the general overview of the reproductive system and where the testicles, sits, in the scrotal sac. If you go over here, you could see a side view of the testicles here exposed and where it's located and here is the penis gland, this is the prostate gland and if you go down here you can see a diagrammatic side view of the male reproductive system. The testicles sitting here, in the scrotal sac and here it's joined by the duct here, the vas deference into the penis gland, into urethral, where it actually gets disbursed, it's ejaculated out of the penis gland. Here's the colon, here's the bladder, here's the prostate gland. Now, if we go down here you could see the anatomy, or side view of the prostate gland and you could see one prostate gland cut in half and if you look inside, and close up, you could see the prostate gland is made up of all these different lobules and within each lobule all these convoluted tubials and this is where the sperm is made. All the sperm is made and pushed into this middle area here and then they move into all these separate ducts, which forms one big duct. So, this is the anatomy of the testicle and also it's location, within the male reproductive system."
