"Hi, I'm Dr. Tammy Ruefli on behalf of Expert Village, I'm here to talk to you about food allergies and how to deal with them. There are many methods on how practitioner use to determine if you truly do have food allergies. One is obviously the allopathic route that traditional medical route in which you would visit your medical doctor and they would take some blood and take blood test. Another method is called electrodermal screening and this method they use sensory pads and place them on certain fingers. It is hooked up to a diagnostic machine and can tell you different systems of the body what is going on and if you have food allergies to certain foods. The technique that I use is called nutrition response testing, it is a holistic non invasive approach by using a applied kinesiology we can determine whether if you have food allergies. Applied kinesiology is also known as muscle testing, this way we use, the practitioner uses certain muscles specifically the arms to gather information."
