"Hi, I'm Dr. Tammy Ruefli on behalf of Expert Village, I'm here to talk to you about food allergies and how to deal with them. Food allergies usually occur due to the fact that the food you have just eaten has not been properly digested or simulated. Digestion begins in the mouth if you do not chew properly and allow the saliva and the enzymes within the saliva to breakdown your food. It is up to the stomach to break it down if the stomach doesn't breakdown properly digest your food it could leak out to the intestine to the stomach walls before it reaches the intestines and leak out to the blood stream. This is known as leaky gut syndrome, when the immune system senses the foreign bodies which the food is now looked at a form body it response with a immune reaction. That is when you are experienced some bloating, indigestion possibly hives and rash. As a side note there also be some emotional component to the food that you have just eaten and this too can activate this immune response."
