"Hi, this is Eileen Dey for Expert Village and in this segment we'll talk about ethical guidelines. It's important for any practitioner of Reiki to have the understanding that boundaries need to be respected in giving a treatment, whether that's hands off or touching, or even coming to, have an understanding of what an individual needs. Reiki isn't about diagnosis and so it's important to follow some established code of ethics. Once that's put out the International Association of Reiki Professionals is one that I recommend. In this next segment we'll talk about hands on or off the body."
