"Child's pose. Child's pose is another one you're going to find in every single yoga class you ever attend, yet sometimes it can be challenging. Child's pose is amazing for adjusting the sacrum and releasing tension in the lower back. You want to start with the heels directly under your butt and the knees together. There are many variations of child's pose, but this is the most basic variation. From here you're just going to let the hands drape along side you, and bring the forehead to the floor. You're going to rest here, letting the shoulders fall and allowing the back to release. Now, if that's uncomfortable for you, you can bring the knees as wide as your yoga mat and let the belly sink down in between the thighs coming onto the floor. This can be a deeper stretch for some, and for others it can be more comfortable than a traditional child's pose. Again, if you have pain in this pose, use a bolsterer or a blanket. I'm going to grab a blanket and show you how. Sometimes I like to put a blanket over my legs, so that when I lay in child's pose I have a little bit of a support in my belly. Work with this pose until it's comfortable. This pose is a release, it's a rejuvenator and it's an amazing adjuster for the spine. Don't forget to keep breathing, inhaling and exhaling long and strong through the nose, support your body as you need to, align your body in a proper way, engage and release as you find it appropriate and huh! Hopefully you'll feel better. Alright now I'm going to say happy stretching, good luck."
