"Hi! I'm Dr. Eric Sayer from Sayer Family Chiropractic. I'm here on behalf of Expert Village. In this portion of the video, we're going to be talking about rest. Rest doesn't necessarily mean complete stop of all activities. It just means the real intense heavy activities that may have caused the problem refrain from them. Also, to try and take it a little easier. Too much rest can actually be a problem. Some people will become couch potatoes have they hurt their back and actually create other problems. It's important to keep active, but just a low level of activity. It might mean just walking. If you're weightlifting, stopping some of that stuff for a little while, just giving it some time."
